AMT Southern - Service Tech / Installer Roles

AMT Southern Ltd is a locally owned company based in Dunedin and is a part of the AMT Group of Companies located in Christchurch providing Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) servicing and installation solutions to our large client base of commercial customers across the South Island regions.

Due to our current and projected forward workloads we are now looking for various skilled roles to join our team. Some of these roles do require out of town travel for upcoming project works as well as servicing our contracted sites across the Otago/Southland region.

Service Roles - Ideally you will be a HVAC qualified, Refrigeration Engineer and/or a Registered Electrician with experience across all forms of the Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning industry with extensive servicing experience in a commercial environment. Commercial and Residential Air Conditioning and Ventilation installation experience will also be an advantage.

Installer Roles - HVAC / Pipework / Duct Installer and/or Refrigeration qualifications preferable however, strong industry knowledge and extensive commercial installation experience will be taken into consideration based on the various roles we have available.

To be considered for these roles, you will ideally have the following skills and attributes:

> Qualifications and experience as noted above
> Be physically fit
> Ability to follow instructions and work both autonomously and in a team environment
> A positive, can-do attitude
> Punctual and reliable with an excellent work ethic
> Competent with technology - Simpro experience an advantage for Service based roles
> Good references
> Be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening test
> Pay attention to detail, work to a high standard and with excellent communication skills
> A strong understanding of workplace health and safety
> Current NZ Drivers License
> A site safe passport, First aid certificate, EWP (Elevated Work Platforms), and Height and Harness qualifications will be advantageous
> Be able to interpret plans, schematics and specifications
> Ability to carry out accurate site measures and drawings for manufacture where required
