What is covered by HVAC maintenance?
When conducting routine maintenance, our skilled HVAC engineers perform a number of essential tasks, starting with a visual check for leaks, loose connections, and signs of wear or damage. To maintain air quality and ensure your machine is operating efficiently, air filters are regularly cleaned or replaced, preventing the build-up of dust and pollution. Then, the system’s coils, condensers and evaporators are cleaned, and the outdoor units cleared of debris.
Moving parts, such as fans, bearings and motors are checked and lubricated where required to protect against wear and tear, helping to extend the lifespan of your system. Electrical components are given a once-over too, checking terminations and calibrating thermostats and sensors to ensure systems are working as per design. Finally, your HVAC maintenance engineer will test the performance of the system, conducting various assessments on system performance and overall functionality.
